Twiggs County will soon have a new resource for families who face adversity.
The Community Closet, expected to officially open in June, will assist families who experience something like a house fire, coordinator Tamiko Horne says.
Currently, the Community Closet needs donations for men, women and children, but especially donations of men's clothing in large sizes. Another need is undergarments for men, women and children.
Families or individuals can access the closet through agencies like DFACS and the Board of Education.
Family Connections organizes the closet and can be reached at 478-233-7468 or email@example.com for more information or to give donations.
The Community Closet is located at the Twiggs County Board of Education in the Family Connections office.
