Lucas and Paris Campaigns Reach Out To Voters Over Weekend

Former State Representative David Lucas and Georgia State Senator Miriam Paris reached out to voters on Saturday and Sunday to get people out to the polls in the run-off election on Tuesday, August 21st.

At Lucas headquarters, volunteers made phone calls to constituents throughout District 26 asking them to vote for David Lucas in the run-off election.

"The main thing is that one on one contact with voters to let people know that David is sincere in his run for election to the state senate to remind people of the things that he's already done and has continued to do out of office," said Elaine Lucas, Macon City Councilwoman, and wife of David Lucas.

Elaine Lucas said that her husband has been out in the field campaigning throughout District 26. Volunteers also organized fliers that were handed out at churches and businesses.
