Twiggs Co. Majority Vote for Obama | Politics

Fifty-four percent of Twiggs County voted for Barack Obama in the presidential race.

Forty-five percent of the Twiggs County vote went to Mitt Romney.

That was 1,905 votes for Romney, and 2,269 votes for Obama. 

One percent, 25 votes, of Twiggs Countian voters selected the third party candidate Gary Johnson on their ballots.

Nationwide, Mitt Romney had 2,054,373 votes, but 206 electoral votes. Obama won the reelection wtih 303 electoral votes.
