There will be a Friends Of the Twiggs County Sherrif's Office Meeting January 5th at 6 p.m. This meeting will be held at the Sheriff's Office Annex.  Please come out and support your deputies in all of the hard work they do protecting our county and keeping us safe.

Twiggs County Schools hosts its Second Annual holiday ball!

That's on Friday, December 16 from 7-10 p.m.

Dress code is semi-formal and advanced tickets are $6.50 per person.

All students should bring a parent or guardian.

 

Robins Air Force Base, Ga. - Exciting changes are coming soon to the Robins shopping community. Starting in January, the BX will be undergoing major renovations, including a name change as part of a rebranding campaign across the Army and Air Force Exchange Service.

Expected completion will be in early July.

There will be new dining options too, but more on that in a minute.

First, the redesign, which will occur in 12 phases starting January 2, will split the store into ‘lifestyle centers.’ Its traditional design of aisles will soon have a ‘V’ shaped walkway, where shoppers can browse through fitness, home and active lifestyle and fashion centers.

 “It will be a center now with little shops inside one big store,” said Anthony Ventura, Robins AAFES general manager.
