Danville holds 'No Crime, No Violence' parade

The Twiggs County Marching Band led off the parade, followed by a local dance group and the Boy Scouts.

The parade was organized as a way urge citizens to discourage violence in the city.

Vertise Rozier, pastor of Cathedral of Faith Family Praise Center, says he grew up in this area and wants to improve the community of Danville.

"We wanted to bring history to this city, progress to this city, and we've done it by unifying. Making it all churches, not going by denomination, just working together to make a team," says Rozier.
