COBRA Camp to ready students for high school

Twiggs County High School hosts COBRA CAMP Monday through Wednesday for new freshmen.

Full details:

Twiggs County High School is hosting COBRA CAMP Monday, July 14, 2014 through Wednesday, July 16, 2014 for incoming freshmen. It is our goal to provide students with the support they need to ensure a smooth transition from middle school to high school.

Students will receive an orientation to high school along with an overview of student expectations and academic challenges that come with 9th grade.

To encourage participation, Twiggs County Public Schools is providing transportation for any student that needs it. On the first day of Cobra Camp students that have pre-registered will receive a Chrome book. We invite all parents to attend from 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. on July 16, 2014 which is the final day of camp.

Students will receive a copy of their schedule for the first semester and parents will have the opportunity to ask questions of school personnel. Each student who has a parent attend the final session on July 16th will receive ONE free ticket to the first home Cobra football game for the 2014-2015 season. For more information, contact Mrs. Jackie Curtis at (478) 945-3112.
