(WXIA) -- Krispy Kreme has rolled out two new doughnuts inspired by popular Southern dishes.

The Southen Summer Classics offerings will be available through Sunday, Aug. 31 at participating locations. They include:

Banana Pudding
A moist shell doughnut filled with banana Kreme filling, topped with a yellow icing that hints of the flavors inside and a vanilla wafer topping

Twiggs County High School hosts COBRA CAMP Monday through Wednesday for new freshmen.

Twiggs County High School is hosting COBRA CAMP Monday, July 14, 2014 through Wednesday, July 16, 2014 for incoming freshmen. It is our goal to provide students with the support they need to ensure a smooth transition from middle school to high school.

Students will receive an orientation to high school along with an overview of student expectations and academic challenges that come with 9th grade.

Twiggs County resident named CGTC Chair of Board of Directors

Twiggs County resident and retired educator, Sarah Hawthorne, was named as the chair of CGTC's Board of Directors.

According to a release, she also served as the vice chair of the Board in the past year, when CGTC and MGTC merged.

She'll serve a one-year term.

CGTC's board of directors is comprised of a group of business leaders from the eleven counties CGTC serves in Baldwin, Bibb, Crawford, Dooly, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach, Pulaski, Putnam and Twiggs counties.

Houston County retired superintendent was also elected to the vice chair position for 2014-2015.

CGTC Titans hosting camp for Twiggs County youth

50 Twiggs County kids will participate in a week-long basketball camp at the Macon Promise Center.

Central Georgia Technical College Titans put on the camp and kids will also hear speeches from retired FVSU coach Lonnie Brantley as well as a former NBA player Sharone Wright, according to a release.

Students who attend will also get to tour the CGTC campus.
