Jeffersonville farm Rag & Frass Farm joins the Mulberry Street Market in Macon as a vendor.

The farm brings vegetables, fruit, flowers, herbs and mushrooms to the table.

They'll be at the Mulberry Street Market in downtown Macon across from the Grand Opera House from 4-7 p.m. Wednesdays.

--6 p.m. Egg hunt at Harvest Church after 6 p.m. service

  • Saturday

Easter Bunny to Appear at Speedway This Weekend

Stock car races were rained out at Dublin-441 Speedway last Sat. Mar. 23rd.  This week race # 3 of the Pure Stock Mini Series will be presented along with regular racing in Late Model, Super Street, Bomber, Pure Stock & 440's.  Also, the Easter  Bunny  will arrive at the speedway  around 7 p.m. and remain there until 10:00 p.m. 

The Bunny will give out prizes to all young kids, including a bonus prize to some little one.

Bring the kids enjoy the Bunny and racing on Ga's. Finest 3/8 mile dirt oval!!! Gates open at 5, with racing at 7 p.m. Reg. adm: Adults-$10.00, & kids $5.00 for bleachers. $25.00 for adults, & $10.00 for kids in pits. To join our team and share with folks just like yourself, all you have to do is email us your email address and name whereyoulive@13wmaz.com

From there, we set up an account for you. This account lets you log in to your community site and post photo galleries, concerts, community events, 100th birthday parties, your concerns, latest creative projects, how-to advice and anything else you want people in your area to know.

Four County Area Exchange Club Metric Bike Ride

The Four County Area Exchange Club of Allentown Georgia will be hosting its annual Metric Century Bike ride on April 13th 2013 at the Allentown City Hall. The rides start at 8 am. The registration fee is $30 per rider. A waiver/release form must be signed to complete registration. Entrants under 18 years of age must have parent/guardian to sign. 

A metric century is a 100 kilometer (62 mile) bicycle ride. However for those beginners and less venturous the Exchange Club will also will have an 18k and 45k ride.  The rides are laid out across country roads and state highways that cover the counties of Wilkinson, Twiggs, and Bleckley. 

There will be volunteer-manned rest stops and SAG support along the courses. Helmets are required for all riders. Map and cue sheets will be available for riders. A hotdog lunch is included for all riders afterward.

Easter Bunny Coming to Museum of Aviation

The Easter Bunny is coming to the Museum of Aviation March 30!  He will be at the Museum of Aviation National STEM Academy’s Annual “Spring Into Science” Workshop. The Museum is inviting Pre-K through 5th Grade students to the event which will be held from 9:00 am to Noon.  The cost is $30 per person.

Children who attend “Spring Into Science” will have a full morning of Science ‘EGGS-periments.’ An EGGS-ample would be turning a raw egg into a rubber egg.

“We will also have a visit from a very famous Bunny,” said Cindy Groves, workshop instructor. “The Bunny will here for photos with the children. The FUN day concludes with an EGG

hunt in our outdoor amphitheater. Make sure to bring your basket!”
