Community Invited to Celebrate First Phase of Spring Valley Park

You're invited to the Spring Valley Park dedication on Saturday, November 3.

According to a Twiggs Family Connections news release, the park revitalization's first phase is finished and made possible by: Twiggs Family Connection, Development Authority, Commissioner's Office, community members, and local business in the Twiggs area and surrounding counties.

Race to Georgia's Geodesic Center at Jeffersonville Fall Festival

The City hosts its first annual Harvest Festival Friday to Sunday, 26-28 October.

This family-friendly community event offers a carnival with rides for the children and "festival" food, a super parade on Saturday at 11:00, arts and crafts vendor booths, the United States Air Force Reserve Band, Mercer's Jazz Band, and other must-see entertainment throughout the weekend.

A 5K Run And See Georgia race, "Race to the Center," begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday. So be sure you RACE TO THE CENTER -- the geodesic center of the State of Georgia.
